Neurological Vocational Services
Helping people with neurological conditions gain independence, one person, one job, at a time.

Our Neurological Vocational Services Nonprofit Organization Board is composed of local employers, representatives from our client population, representatives from the state Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), and other interested professionals and laypersons. The Board is incorporated as a non-profit entity, TIN #91-1412467, and has a 503 (c) 3 tax-exempt designation and is responsible for:

Advice/program review
The Board is instrumental in reviewing program policy and in establishing short-term goals and objectives. It also aids in the review of labor market trends, local employment practices, labor market projections, and similar technical concerns.

Fund-raising
NVS (the Non-Profit Board) supports NSVU and their clients to locate and maintain employment by supporting service grants that can be used where traditional funding is not available. This is accomplished through fundraising activities.

If you are interested in becoming a Board Member, please send your resume along with a brief description about yourself and your interest in the program.

After reviewing your resume, an NVS Board representative or NVSU staff member will contact you to schedule a face to face meeting. You may be invited to an upcoming Board meeting for an informal interview. Voting will occur approximately 2 weeks after the interview and you will be contacted directly with the results after that point.
