Helping people with neurological conditions
gain independence, one person, one job, at a time.
Our Neurological Vocational Services Nonprofit Organization
Board is composed of local employers, representatives from our
client population, representatives from the state Division of
Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), and other interested
professionals and laypersons. The Board is incorporated as a
non-profit entity, TIN #91-1412467, and has a 503 (c) 3
tax-exempt designation and is responsible for:
Advice/program review
The Board is instrumental in reviewing
program policy and in establishing short-term goals and
objectives. It also aids in the review of labor market trends,
local employment practices, labor market projections, and
similar technical concerns.
Fund-raising
NVS (the Non-Profit Board) supports NSVU and their clients to
locate and maintain employment by supporting service grants that
can be used where traditional funding is not available. This is
accomplished through fundraising activities.
If you are interested in becoming a Board Member, please
send your resume along with the NVS New Board Member
Questionnaire, which can be obtained by
clicking here.
After reviewing your resume, an NVS Board representative or NVSU
staff member will contact you to schedule a face to face

informal interview. Voting will occur approximately 2 weeks
